Esthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry
Thin porcelain (looks identical to tooth structure!) designed to cover the front surface of your teeth, these restorations require much less preparation of tooth structure than full crowns. Veneers are great for individuals who have slightly crowded teeth but don't want to deal with the hassle of braces to correct the teeth position. Veneers can be used to correct the crooked-teeth smile in just a few appointments. Veneers are also a great solution for teeth that are chipped, cracked, stained or to close a gap between teeth.
Safe and effective, our professional tooth whitening kits are available at your request. Whiten at your own pace with our take-home whitening.
Bonded (tooth-colored) Restorations
Bonded restorations are used for the same reasons one might choose a veneer, but with much less cost. They're also used to fill teeth without the unsightly look of metal fillings. These bonded restorations have advantages over metal fillings in that bonded fillings actually adhere to tooth structure. They're also safer because they expand and contract at nearly the same rate as natural tooth when exposed to hot and cold.
All-Porcelain Crowns (caps)
When a tooth has significant decay, has been root-canal treated, or has significant fracturing, a crown is often the best solution to save your tooth. All-porcelain crowns are ideal for esthetically conscious patients that require excellent color and shade matching, providing life-like translucency and vitality to your crown with no metal!
Dental Implant Restoration
Placement of a dental implant is a highly successful procedure designed to replace a single missing tooth, multiple missing teeth, or to provide stability of a denture. Once the dental implant is in place, it can be restored to look like a natural tooth. Dental implants are often excellent alternatives to "bridges," because they do not require any unnecessary cutting, or preparation of your adjacent teeth.
A "bridge" utilizes the teeth on either side of a missing tooth to support a replacement. While not suitable for all cases, porcelain bridges can provide excellent esthetics and they are great for replacing front teeth when dental implants are not possible! Bridges have the advantage of a start-to-finish time of two weeks.
